Maybe a little early for this thread but with the real chance of us getting a good pick, might as well talk about it.

We currently sit in the 7th slot, but the Lightning and Islanders would pass us if they win their games in hand.

Not Yakupov, don't need another under 6'0 winger

I don't like Russians in the first round but Grigarenko at least is big.

Forsberg looked good in the WJC, give him some roids and get him up over 200 and he would be fine

You want another under 6'0 winger? Isn't the goal to get bigger not smaller?

Gallagher is only 5'8 and right wing, Leblanc only 6'0 and probably right wing, Gionta is 5'7. We can't take another under 6'0 right winger.

I want good players... those two are the two best players in the draft. You can have Jason Ward, I'll take Claude Giroux.

The only thing as bad as taking the home town boy to appease the fans is taking the big less talented guy.

We simply cannot afford to take another small player.

Last night showed you need big size to be successful. Your point re Giroux would be valid IF we had other size to compensate but we don't.

You forget Kristo is also in the system on right wing and he definitely isn't a bruiser. Remember who patrols the left side on D in our conference, behemoths like Chara and Pronger (assuming his mushmind allows him to play again).

I'd love Reinhart but I don't want a defensive dman in the top 10. Dumba would be awesome but I don't know if we need a small dman. But somebody is getting a gem with him.

If we are picking like 7th-10th and Dumba was there you'd have to take him though. He's too good not to.
