I'd honestly be really interested in Trevor van Riemsdyk if he were to leave school after this season.

And the third van Riemsdyk brother, Brenden, is draft eligible this year. Never seen Brenden play, though.
 
Have the Habs ever signed one of these? Montreal doesn't seem like a hot destination for these players.

Stars... or good NHL players. Even if you get a third liner its worth it, as its a cheap contract and you didn't use a draft pick.

The article though has a list of recent ones... guys like Andy MacDonald, Chris Kunitz, Matt Read, Dustin Penner, Tyler Bozak, Torey Krug, Danny DeKeyser, Cam Talbot, Ben Scrivens, etc....

1) Some conversation tonight about Hamilton's Greg and Matt Carey, who both play at St. Lawrence. Greg's excellent college career is over...

2) he is free to sign an NHL deal as a free agent. But, a couple of teams believe Matt will go pro, too. There is a lot of interest...

3) with CHI taking a long look at him last weekend.
