The CONCACAF draw

Group A: Mexico, Honduras, Curaçao/El Salvador, Canada/Belize

Group B: Costa Rica, Panama, Grenada/Haiti, Jamaica/Nicaragua

Group C: United States, Trinidad & Tobago, St. Vincent & The Grenadines/Aruba, Antigua & Barbuda/Guatemala

Easy draw for the U.S., they should go into the Hex undefeated.

T&T are significantly improved. I wouldn't put it past them to win on their home pitch.

How many WC slots does Europe get?

Wonder if they went out of their way to not put Germany and Greece in the same group. That would have been entertaining.

CONCACAF gets 3 spots and 1 playoff spot
South America gets 4 spots and 1 playoff spot
Oceania gets 0 spots and 1 playoff spot
Europe gets 13 spots plus the host

For the 2014 World Cup, the playoff matches were Mexico v. New Zealand and Uruguay v. Jordan. For 2018, CONCACAF plays Asia and South America plays Oceania.
