Sons of Anarchy is done. Very sad. Very sad indeed.
Was it that good? I've never watched the show and am looking at watching it.
I recently finished off Breaking Bad, which was amazing.
So is SOA worth my time? I've heard mostly good things.

shockingly, they look like they might have got this remake right:

ah that explains it. the tone was too bang on to be anyone else. nice.
reminds me how angry i am that they did such pathetic useless soulless generic remakes of verhoeven's classics robocop and total recall.
Really? I thought the whole final season was a slow-moving train wreck, and the series as a whole really started on the down-slide after John Lithgow's season. Poorly fleshed-out story lines, and way too much focus on extremely uninteresting secondary characters.Dexter was amazing... until the last episode.
I think SoA started off pretty good, but i agree it peaked in season 2 (especially the season finale) ... season 7 was almost unwatchable to me, but I think the series finale was very good.Ahhh, I am still waiting to get some time to watch the last episode. No more talk.
I know some people here have crapped on the show a bit, and sure some seasons are better than others, but all in all I loved that it was a violent, dirty soap opera with some genuine humour in some parts.
Even though it was complete fiction, I think some aspects of gang hierarchy were accurate and it was cool to see connections between IRA stuff as well. I liked the show alot.

Yeah, Deb and her constant histrionics got old pretty quick. Quinn, Batista and LaGuerta were all pretty uninteresting characters as well, and they all started getting a ton of screen time. Still, it was one of my favourite shows for a bunch of years too. Seasons 1-4 were fantastic, and seasons 5 and 6 had some good moments. Its been a while since i last watched, but yea the focus moving towards Deb near the end was awful to watch. It became the Debra Morgan show more than anything. Still a good show in my eyes.
Director Ridley Scott recently told MTV that Harrison Ford absolutely loves the script for the upcoming Blade Runner sequel. So much so that Ford apparently called it the best thing he's ever read. Let's hope he's even half right.
