Mathias Brunet of La Presse said it best when discussing Pleks.....Pleks hasn't changed, he still makes sure he's 2nd in the corner (to avoid contact), still hits with his hands and stick, instead of going in for a real hit. Byron was hitting and working hard in the corners, but Pleks doesn't want to pay the price.

How can Bergy tell us he wants ka-rac-tar players but then trades Subban and give Pleks 6 mil contract.

If anything, Pleks is costing us games...he renders Gally-Byron's efforts useless. And he's not exactly great defensively anymore.....how can he be if he never uses his body. A 3rd line center is supposed to be gritty.
 
I have to laugh how Plekanec is now the sole reason we lose according to some.

I have to laugh at how some people think others are saying that a single player, any player, is the sole reason the Habs lose.

He can't feed his wingers because he's not willing to get his hands dirty. That alienates his whole line....Vigneault doesn't even need to plan a strategy against Pleks' line

Not really. I get notifications for quotes.

But I also get one that will say "Habsy is now following you". And it is only your name that does that.
