When I saw Rinne swept the #1 Hawks, I realized Rinne has posted a .976 SV% in round 1 ... and I couldn't help by think to myself "If Andersen has posted anywhere close to .976 we'd have swept the Caps too!"

All we need from you though Freddie, is to be GOOD. No soft goals, no easy goals.

I think the key is we need to survive the first 10 min of the game. The Caps will get a jolt from winning game 4 and coming back home for the all pivotal game 5. We need to play a smart road game.

If we can survive the first 10 min, our speed and our skill will take over and I'm confident we can take this.

Stay out of the ****ing box and if you do find yourself there DO NOT LET OVI SHOOT!!!

Really sucks to give back home ice advantage.

We can do this but damn it's gonna be tough.

We could start by not giving up 2 goals in the first 5 minutes for the first time this week.

Babs comments about "chances" in the series around 2:40 is kind of telling. I think that's as close as throwing his goalie under the bus as he would ever go at this point in the season.

A good start would be great tonight, but I'd even take just managing to get out of the first 10 minutes of the game without taking any serious damage. That's when the oldsters from Washington have really been killing us before the Leaf youngsters slowly but surely start taking the game back over.

So, if we can get past that first stretch without ending up with a 2-3 goal hole to climb out of, then we'll be in good shape.

And for the love of all that's good in this world Freddie---have at least a decent game tonight.

5 things to watch for in Game 5

1. Matthews and Nylander were quiet in Game 1 + 2 which where in Washington when the Caps had the last change and could better line-match against the duo. In Game 3 and Game 4 they broke out. Now the series goes back to Washington - can #34 and #29 maintain their dominance?

2. Andersen and soft goals. No more please.

3. In the other net, Holtby has been pretty bad as well, and his playoff save % thus far has been uncharastically subpar compared to his career playoff average. Will Holtby continue to perform at this level?

4. Goalie aside, the Leafs were off to a very poor start in Game 4, badly outshot in the first half of the game and beat to every loose puck. Will the Leafs rebound in Game 5 from a bad start in Game 4?

5. The Caps have a playoff choker label. If / when the Leafs grab a lead tonight, how will they respond in the pivotal game 5 under pressure in front of their home crowd?

GO LEAFS GO!!!!!

Expect a better game from him tonight. He blew a good opportunity to help end the series and knows it

you just won't stop with this, will you?

You know the answer to that. He's dying to call Matthews release "weird", or knock Marner for an average skillset. Once he's latched onto something, it never goes away regardless of evidence to the contrary.

Man. I never realized before how strong the arrogance and entitlement is with that team.

BOUNCES seems to be the catch-phrase in WSH.

I wanna hear them talk about bounces ALL summer long after we move on to round 2.
