Possible scenario. Deal between #Sabres & #Oilers involving Ristolainen+ to EDM & 10th overall to BUF. Then #Habs send Pacioretty & 3rd overall to BUF for O'Reilly & 10th overall. Guessing one of Kotkaniemi or Hayton is there at 10.

We need more in return. Oils get a top pair D for # 10 . Sabres dump a salary plus get # 3 .

We give up more and not get back enough for # 3 and taking on money .

It takes 2 to dance and the sabers knows how desperate we are for a center and we are division rivals, so the price will be high and at some point, if it's too high, than Bergevin might as well pass.

I'd love to get ROR but not at the expense of giving up our #3 pick or one of our best prospect for him.

The Sabres are probably more eager to dump ROR's cap hit....we are desperate for a center, but a true #1

Molson-Bergevin cannot be that dumb.....what guarantees will teams #4 to 9 give Habs that they won't take the Finn ?

Its kinda messed up eh. Of coarse these are all just rumors. For all we know Max could still be a Hab 5 months from now.

****. That sounds like a Bergevin move so it's concerning. Dropping all the way to 10, losing Pacioretty and only gaining ROR? I'm not a fan of this scenario.

could be the number 3 pick ends up a 50 point centre, a bust, a star

i think we just disagree on the scale....to me it would not be brutal just not good haha
