Evaluating what u have now is imperative, either Scherbak just needs further seasoning and will pan out or needs to be flipped now like David Rundblad for a Kyle Turris type.

Yes he needs further seasoning but he made a big jump between his 19 and 20 year old seasons

People mature at different levels. If he doesn't make the team by next season though you have to trade him off.

With a late birthday. He needs time to develop. He had a very solid first game where he scored. He's got some really good NHL tools. I think he just needs more seasoning. Hopefully he gets 5-10 this season with the Habs.
