Wonder if that makes him the best of the D we drafted that year...

Hopefully he makes the team.
 
Regarding the knee injury thing...We drafted Morgan Rielly injured, and he's never had a problem with the knee in over 450 total games since the operation, and it doesn't appear to have hurt his skating at all.
 
I think some people still think this is the 70s or 80s and they envision Bobby Orr, Gord Kluzak, Cam Neely... or some other Bruin.
 
Hossa had that surgery at 19 i think

he turned out okay

unless his "skin condition" is related

WJSS update: Updating Ryan Poehling. He had surgery for tonsillitis & a deviated septum on July 7 and will not participate in any game action for the U.S. at the World Junior Summer Showcase. He is skating on his own.
 
After a month to think about it (a little), I'm even more convinced Bergevin made a colossal error drafting the Finn over Zadina. Unbelievable.
