OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

The "Real" Raptors fans get to see the team. The "Real" Leaf fans don't attend games.

Probably a good thing that the "real" Leafs fans don't go. The place probably would have been burnt down by now or just plain old empty. Not much reason to pay good money to consistently watch your team lose.

So...the Raptors were getting stomped, with the Cavs going on the 16-0 run to start the game. It's now 38-36 in the 2nd Q though.

Lou Williams was epic in the 1st Q to keep it even remotely close.

So...they start the game down 16, looking like pure shit. Well kids, end of the 3rd and they're up 14.

The Bulls are the only team in the east we shouldn't beat in a 7 game series, and they're only as good as D Rose's knees.

@Raptors: RT @RaptorsMR: Lou Williams with a career-high points (32 at 8:31 of 4th). Old: 31, Atlanta vs. Memphis, 11/20/09 #rtz

This trade is turning out to be awesome.

There's no way they should have made that trade without Love's name on a deal. There were always going to be some growing pains in getting this group to play together. They can't defend. Across their starting unit, Lebron & Sideshow are the only 2 legit defenders. Kyrie is a matador, Matrix is old and busted, and Love has always been hilarious defensively.

It was always going to take them another year to fill in those bench roles and tighten up the screws, much like Bron's first super friends go around in Miami. Adding Battier was huge for them in Miami, and so was Bosh learning how to defend the position. Similar shit is going to need to occur in Cleveland, but it's not if Love ****s off after this season.

You have to wonder if the Cavs would have been better without making that deal.

PG - Irving
SG - Wiggins
SF - James
PF - Thompson
C - Varejao

With a bench of Waiters, Marion and Bennett.

I'd prefer that group if I was a Cavs fan.
