To be fair, the pitchers get to pick what jerseys they wear for their starts, and the sox disregarded his choice when they felt like changing their mind.
Not saying it was right what he did, but they asked for his choice and pitched it aside without asking him

What a ****ing disappointment he's been. He went from being a fringe elite reliever to being a HR machine. 17.6 HR/FB rate....jesus christ.
He and Cecil....if both were just the same guys they've been the last few years, we'd have a rock solid bullpen. Both have been sub 3.00 FIP relievers for the last 3+ seasons, and both are still in prime. Just crazy how easy it is for a reliever to lose his shit.

I don't get how a guy goes from being a 2.7 FIP pitcher like Storen was the last few years, to 5 this year. If he even just pitched to his xFIP (4.36, normalizing his hr/fb rate), we could have lived with that.

Truly is shocking how far he has fell. Big reason why middle of the road relievers don't fetch much at the deadline. The variability at the position makes it a huge risk for the acquiring team and this usually brings down the return.
Not really upset about the trade though, tbh. Revere has also had a shitty year, and him leaving opened up regular PT for Saunders.

Brutal. We all loved that trade and he was an absolute disaster. Did not see that coming.

Fans seem to either like star players, or they like scrubs (Muni!). They don't see that Happ + Estrada + Dickey >> Price plus replacement level pitchers.

Jays are first in the AL in attendance and their TV ratings are through the roof. I doubt Rogers GAF about selling a couple less jerseys. Wouldn't surprise me if they've sold more than last year overall anyway. They are cleaning up with the Jays this year as expected.
