Wow, did anyone see the highlights of the Detroit/Ottawa game? Sergei Gonchar pretty much just stood still nonchalantly in the neutral zone as a couple of Detroit players waltzed past him into the Ottawa zone and scored Detroit's first goal of the night. Great signing Murray. And you've even got him for one more season after this one!

Funny that we had people pointing to the Habs picking up Betts for free as a reason to criticize Burke for trading a 4th rounder for Steckel. If a player's available on waivers this time of year, for one reason or another, 99% of the time they're shit.
