Injuries and losing in Toronto, perfect.

As the Expos have taught me growing up, you don't win championships in April... But you sure can lose 'em. And that's what Taranna's doing.
Elite goaltending will hide a lot of a bad team's flaws and make them look a lot better than they truly are. That's why Carey Price is the single most important player to his team in the NHL.

My new poorly written out thoughts on this season's Montreal Canadiens.

Totally expected a collapse this year . After 2 years of the Midas touch , health and blowing your brains out mortgaging the farm system , it's all catching up .

Age, decline, injuries and no future = Blow it up soon

Yeah its terrible to have someone come on a Habs board and continually post about their love for another team.

I see Baseball America has picked Vladdy Jr (Blow Jays prospect) as the 2nd best prospect in baseball...

Vlad Jr will be the greatest Montreal born player ever.

Haven't heard him speak but he knows how to take a walking -- so he's got dad beat on strike zone judgement.

His dad could have been a gold mine marketing wise but he refused.

And the blue jays have gone back to being a non entity outside of Toronto.

Seeing less and less jays gear in montreal as well.

    Good riddance.

They will be less and less relevant over the next couple of years. It's back to Yanks/Red Sox again for the next while.

Exactly and the sooner Shapiro and company realize a rebuild is required the better . Their window is shut with a slow decaying roster that has gutted its system for a fun filled 2 years of going for it .

The Yanks timed it perfectly with solid drafting , excellent deals for prospects , and tons of salary coming off the books to add to their stable of kids .

Jays have no hope of competing for 5 years and it gets worse if they think a few tinkering moves is all they need .

They are now the Canucks of MLB.
