And I'm sure all NHL players are on the same page.

What are the odds hes getting fined for that comment? This league has turned into such a joke! I wish both players and managers would take a paycut to make watching games more affordable for everyone. In todays society, unless you live in a non hockey market, no normal person can afford going to a game.

Do you by any chance know what would happen if the season does in fact start eventually, what happens to the 100+ players who have gone to europe to play?

I don't think the players can be fined right now as they are not being paid by the NHL. The NHLPA could fine him but the players have been saying a lot of nasty stuff with no fines.

The NHL is fining owners for talking though.

hmmm, interesting. I've been very out of the loop with the hockey stuff since there doesnt seem to be a season, and I dont care much about the technicalities of economy to do with sports. I want to see sports be more like they used to be where the main concern wasnt the money but the playing of the sport (you can disagree with me there, but I think that back in the day, playing was more important than the money associated with the sport). I'm jealous of all the european fans who get to witness some really good hockey this year! Hopefully that helps develop european hockey, as they have world class players to look up to and learn from.
