OT: Fanboy fight: XBox V Playstation

Nintendo had a hell of an e3 presentation. Mario Odyssey looks phenomenal and is in all likelihood the reason i will end up forking over the cash for a Switch.

Metroid 4 announced. I don't think we'll be seeing that until 2019 though. They didn't even have a cinematic for it.
 
Not even going to lie but the new Kirby game looks like fun.

Was really hoping for a Donkey Kong or Luigi standalone game being the surprise. Excellent showing from Nintendo. They are doing an excellent job with the Switch.
 
It's Fifa time again isn't it? my friends are going crazy as usual. Next comes "WTF this is harder to pass and dribble" then "I don't know man, let's play FIFA 17 again tonight", then "Ok back to FIFA 18...yup the passes are weird; then "OMG FIFA18 is the best".

Also Nintendo has remade Super Metroid for the 3DS so if you want to get your Metroid on you can in September.

I am sure Mario will be sweet but unlikely it is better than zelda.

Stupid mario pre order is $100 everywhere but the sold out walmart. Ugh.
 
Pre ordered Destiny 2 and Battlefront 2.

Other than that I am mostly just looking for nintendo stuff. Zelda DLC and Mario.

I got the joke, but there are Nintendo fans out there fellating everything Nintendo is doing, and my comment was directed moreso at them than it was at Metalleaf.

Any serious gamer would have shot their switch out the window by now after finishing BOTW.
 
a few things...

- sure - but a serious gamer would not be on any console
- do you even know what jumping the shark means?
- i find it funny that a person that cheers for two NHL teams cannot have room in his heart for a few different consoles
 
If a "serious gamer" is someone who only plays COD on 4K res screens then I'll tell them to **** off. I'm a "serious gamer" and I can enjoy Battlefield I and Mario.

Nintendo Switch Game line-up by end of the year:

Zelda BOTW(2 DLCs coming)
Mario Odyssey
ARMS
Splatoon 2
Mario Kart Deluxe
Pokken Deluxe
Skyrim(port but it's a Bethesda title on the Switch which is promising for the future)
New Yoshi
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Rocket League
Fire Emblem Warriors

That's a good library for year one....not to mention they're working on a NESflix streaming service that will be rolled out over the year.
