If we beat Tampa next round, then we might be over-achieving a little.
I don't get your definition of Over-achieving. So you are saying, if we beat a team seeded lower than us, we are over-achieving?

Chicago is flawed in net
They are also the smallest team in the playoffs.
No a team that's more talented, which Tampa is.
But we didn't overachieve by finishing ahead of them??
Did they underachieve in the regular season then??

If we neither overachieve, nor underachieve than MT is not the "problem", which has been my argument all this time to folks trying to convince everyone that MT is a dolt that is keeping us down.
They had a ton of injuries on the blue line, which we never had.
Yep, I doubt that we would be suddenly a 130 points team with just about anybody else as coach.
exactly, teams in the NHL just don't get 130 points anymore. 110-115 is pretty much the optimum you can get now
Maybe therriens regular season approach leads to less injuries and then he dials in the high possession... 2 man forecheck in playoffs. Maybe he learned in 2013 you cant play this system for 50 gamea
Maybe. If we win the Cup, all is forgiven.
They'd have 120 points if they hadn't screwed the pooch against Buffalo and Edmonton all year.
