In all my years, never started a game day thread.

Big two points, if we win - we go from drafting 9th to drafting potentially 12th. Which I'm guessing a heap of tankers don't want. Basically, the winner loses.

On the other hand...**** the sens.

Winnipeg does have the tie break. We can get to 7th. Currently we are 8th.

Its not wins. Its ROW which they are tied with us at 29. But Winnipeg is 2-0 vs us this year so they have the second tie breaker. We're 8th last right now.

7th/8th is a very solid pick. Now that I've accepted the collapse that's the one positive.

Positives:
- higher 1st round pick if we can lose this one
- Carlyle being canned?
- Shanny being brought in, is likely related to this tank
- gonna guess franson, ranger, Orr, mcclement (so ****en overrated) are all gone

Negatives:
- weak eastern conference, outside of bruins (pens don't have goaltending still)...never know once you make it in this conference if you can go all the way
- no playoff matchup vs habs. Month ago looked like a slam dunk i would be watching my first ever habs/leafs series
