The obvious one is switch Plex with Eller and you're all set.
 
If we can sign Vrbata get rid of Moen. Means +2.5M on the cap, we still have 14 left for PK and Eller plus room for trade deadline.

Good thing you're not signing those contracts because Subban at 8.5M is insane. 7.5M max, please.

Also, our rookies have bonuses which are not included in this table. Gachenyuk especially is sure to cost at least another 1M on the cap, and the others guys between them can hit another 1M in bonuses. We obviously can pass this money to next year but it will be prudent to leave buffer room to account for the bonuses. Still, it's very good to know that we can afford to shop for more players if we really need to.

I am hoping there is an excellent opportunity sometimes late in the off-season to pick up a good player. Otherwise, yeah I am comfortable to start the season with this line up.
 
buyout Moen, bury Budaj, call up Tokarski, demote Bournival, sign PK 8.5 mill, sign Eller 3 mill, sign Vrbata 3 mill leaves you with 2.9 mill in cap space. Ideally, MB finds a taker for Moen

Subban will NOT get less than 8.5$millions. It might even be more. This is not 2009 anymore. I'd be a happy camper if we sign him for that amount but I fear it might be more.

It will be hard to trade moen. He is worthless. I also doubt we demote bournival. We need his grinding/speed too much. I hope we can sign eller for less than 3 millions.
