There are 1.6B muslims in the world. Israel is surrounded by all arab states. There's what, 15-20m jews in the entire world? We are a rarity. We were almost wiped out in the holocaust, Israel is the only place we have. So, every jew should have an attachment to Israel. We have our own army and we fight back now. That's a problem to a lot of people apparently.
most of you have never lived in Israel so it isn't the only place you have. You were born in this country, you are a Canadian, not an Israeli. That is the part that I find weird. Many of the biggest Israeli hawks have never even been to the state of Israel.
