News Breaker
Not many regulars tonight.

Аrpon Basu:
• Habs expected to play tonight include Andrighetto, Bourque, Bowman, De La Rose, Desharnais, Prust, Scherbak, Sekac, Tokarski, MacDonald.
• On defence for Habs there should be Beaulieu, Bouillon, Gilbert, Nygren and Tinordi and one other. Nothing official roster wise though.

Tonight's Lineup:

Goalies:
35 - Dustin Tokarski
39 - Joey MacDonald

Defencemen:
24 - Jarred Tinordi
28 - Nathan Beaulieu
36 - Magnus Nygren
55 - Francis Bouillon
77 - Tom Gilbert
84 - Darren Dietz

Forwards:
08 - Brandon Prust
25 - Jacob de la Rose
26 - Jiri Sekac
37 - Gabriel Dumont
38 - Nikita Scherbak
51 - David Desharnais
54 - T.J. Hensick
56 - Tim Bozon
58 - Sven Andrighetto
94 - Daniel Carr
96 - Drayson Bowman
97 - Nick Sorkin

A line up of...

Scherbak - DD - Prust
Sekac - Andrighetto - de la Rose
Bowman - Dumont - Sorkin
Bozon - Hensick - Carr

Beaulieu - Gilbert
Tinordi - Nygren
Bouillon - Dietz

If Scherbak wasn't playing, I'm not sure I'd even tune in.

I like the slap in the face by us to Quebec City fans by dressing a more or less B team. And those of you who actually believe that the NHL under Gary Bettman has any serious interest in returning to Quebec City are in for a big disappointment, I think.

I saw it more as a thank you to our own fans last night that we played our real team then but you are a glass half empty kind of guy.

I do agree that Gary really does not want a team in Quebec City.

QC will be the new Hamilton, i.e., a city with a new arena to be used as leverage by the NHL and U.S. based teams in distress.

Hamilton should do way better this year with addition of some of these young players . I guess they have potential to make it to P-O this year . Well probably better coach...

Scherbak, Sekac and Nygren are the main players I care about on the list.

Andrighetto, de la Rose and Bozon as well... to a lesser degree.

The rule is 8 "veterans" minimum per pre-season game. By "veterans", they mean either 100 NHL games, 30 NHL games last year, or 1st round pick this year.

We're really stretching it to make the minimum with this lineup.

Middle finger to the people of QC.

With that lineup... this will be the commercial game to the Als and Ottawa. What a horrible lineup lol

Not sure we meet the criteria

51, 55, 96, 8 and 55 have 100 games or played 30 last year. 38 is a first round pick this year.

Combined Tinordi and Beaulieu had 30 games last year
