The Good The Bad & The Ugly - Game 2 - Habs vs Capitals

After the 1st, we were the better team.

Full marks to Tokarski. He won this game. Already reaping the benefits of moving Budaj.

Budaj has nicer hair. And, a nicer mask. But, Tokarski is a better goalie...
 
We beat three teams tonight, the Caps, the refs and the shitty version of the Habs.
 
Game never should have gone to OT. Refs screwed us out of a goal in regulation with that bogus goalie interference call. The end result was just and the Caps got one more point than they deserved.

GOOD: Tokarski. He kept them in the game long enough for hi s teammates to find their legsna.

BAD: DD and Gilbert not taking the shot when they had open looks (although DD scored that ugly shoot-out goal to redeem himself somewhat)

UGLY: The officiating of Chris Lee who was, unfortunately, in mid-season form.
 
Third line got the message and were fairly solid in the third period. This is a somewhat encouraging.

Also note Gilbert's nice pass to Galchenyuk to set up the goal.
