The Good The Bad & The Ugly - Game 44 - Islanders vs Habs

The ole tune is hopelessly past it's due date but too recent to be considered nostalgic or vintage.

Bring back the organ sounds of the 70s and Les Canadiens Sont La

There's no correlation, obviously. The problem is that the Eurofags in the crowd start chanting it too early so there's lots of time for visiting team goals.

I agree. They could jazz it up a bit but it's an iconic tune, much better than that Loco Locasse ditty they play after every goal. Separatist "franco-rap" I can live without, thanks very much. I'd sooner listen to the "Bleu, Blanc, Rouge" song they used to play during the 80's.

And the eurotrash soccer chants have to go too. Soccer is a pantywaist sport.

That's the main reason why I hate it but also because it has that sort of slang version to it because people don't really know what the hell they are saying, just Ole, Ole Ole Ole. There is more of a harmony to it when the hooligans sing it overseas where as the Habs crowd version is like serving poutine on Champs-Elysées in Paris. It's icky.

Never thought I'd type these words but when it comes to understanding statistical correlation:

XPO > Krusty + Habsy

You shouldn't drink if you can't handle it. Next you'll be saying that Ted Cruz should be the next US President.

I've been thinking that for ages now. Whatever happened to that classic?

By the way, it's amazing how Pleks suddenly remembers how to play in the offensive zone when he's not saddled with anchors for wingers and asked to shutdown the other team's top line.

Actually, I'm not surprised at all.

I do not think it is that.

I think it is because this guy does whatever the coach asks. Play offensively. Done. Shutdown Crosby. Done.
