This team is just plain bad right now; not one single positive I can take from watching this game outside of better McDavid odds
 
It's almost sad to watch any of this.

For anyone who thinks there's no character issue with this roster of players, behold the complete and utter resignation.
 
but but but, zeke says it would be dumb to trade the talent we have on this team!!! and Zeke has numbers to prove it.

We are in for a bad few years, but we need to really suck this year and get lucky for a McDavid or get into the Strome/Marner area... and then collect some late firsts with Franson and Phaneuf and package Winnik and Santo for a late first or low seconds etc.

Rebuild rebuild rebuild.....
