Starman was the WJC broadcaster on the American broadcasts on NHL network. He also was a college announcer with CBS Sports.... If you think Pierre McGuire was annoying... man this guy might have been worse.

He seemed to know his stuff, he was just a shitty broadcaster.

According to his twitter, Starman was an NCAA hockey analyst (ESPNU/CBSSN) for 10+ years.

Crawford replaces Ethan Moreau, who left the org. a few weeks ago.

He may have been a Selke award winning player... but the numbers on the PPs he has been in charge of (including 2 years in Florida where they had woeful forwards, but a 6th and 7th best PP in the NHL) show he knows how to coach the PP
 
I remember when Craig Ramsay and Don Luce were second only to Gainey and Jarvis in terms of being an awesome penalty killing duo.
