Hes elite defensively (shot suppression) and decent in offense generation for a bottom 6er
i say Mb should of grabbed Linden Vey 6'0 plays both RW/C
I like Byron...kid is super fast and pretty gritty.
Does Byron drive a Ford pickup truck from Le Roi du Camion ?
"Love one another as I have loved you"... Jesus-Christ our Holy Lord and Savior ForeverAmen and Alleluia !!!
Completely forgot about Bournival. That guy had promise before all these injuries started to show up.
Byron ... is this some kind of sick joke????
Bergevin seems to like picking up players just like himself-spare parts. Flynn,Mitchell,Byron, etc. Is our farm system so bad we can't produce spare parts?
The Habs are doing what the Wings do now, which the Habs did during their golden years - let prospects develop in the farm system, over develop if need be.
Smaller players tend to have an advantage at the start of the season, and a jump over bigger players. Byron is a stop-gap till Dec, by which time either one of the prospects in the AHL will be ready to step up, or Kassian will be back into the fold, or both.
Not sure what the hissy fit is all about
“We haven’t reached the ultimate, of where you walk into the building and you can sort of smell victory. But we’re a step closer to that this year than we were last year.”
“So now the pressure’s on to replicate.”
- Geoff Molson
Yeah, as a 4th line/spare part, I don't mind giving a random guy a shot. DLR did decently enough for us last year, but better to give him more minutes on the farm to start, and only bring him up when he can regularly hold down a shift.
Its days like today that really make me laugh at the moar bigger crowd.
If you criticize a playet and all you know is his height and weight... thats hilariously bad.
Great reasoning... this kind of dumb shit when we have gotten rid of small players not acquired more is hilarious.
From the team that made the conf final beating the big bad bruins in a playoff series on the way.... bouillion, gionta, briere, are all gone.... one small player was added today. We are bigger than the team who defeated the supposed bullies of the nhl. On top of that i dont know if anyone noticed byt the winners of three stanley cups kn chicago have been in the bottom 5 smallest teams in the nhl every year they won.
Talent trumps size all day long.
I agree bigtime that talent trumps size. It is nice to have both though...
Byron seems like a gritty/possession player for the 4th line. I don't mind it at all. He maybe better than Flynn.
