I agree ,makes no sense. Why take the life away of someone who is unique and can see mathematical concepts like no one else in the world. It's like evil forces want us to stay in this backward world forever.

He likely needs some time in the AHL to get a taste of game action and get into shape before getting a shot.

Highly doubt he makes the NHL immediately after missing a full year of hockey.
