I like that top 6.
And those lines have potential.

I would prefer to swap Pacioretty and Gallagher tho.
Danault-Pacioretty works, but not really Drouin-Pacioretty.

I would like to give another shot at Galchenyuk-Pacioretty, and have Drouin be the driver on his line instead of adjusting to the Captain.

Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Scherbak
Drouin - Danault - Gallagher

Replace Sherback with Byron if the kid can’t do it.

Danault took part in practice this morning for the first time since his injury and will accompany the team on the coming road trip.

Drouin - Danault - Hudon

French Connection Line, lots of potential offensive upside.

So frustrating as a fan to know this management will never try 76% of of the potential combinations that would actually make sense.

At the opposite, almost everybody in Tampa Bay’s top 9 has played with every other players in said top 9 on multiple occasions on mutiple lines.
Stamkos, Point, Johnson... At wing at centre, whatever the team needs at that point to change the momentum and create a much needed spark.

I just can’t imagine any of the fans, or even the players not being excited to start next game with the following lines :

Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Drouin - Danault - Hudon
Lekonen - Plekanec - Byron

To have Danault and Hudon in the top six doesn't excite me.

To have Plekanec on the team really does not excite me

I'll give the poster some credit that he was being sarcastic with his "exciting" comment regarding those lines.
