It was a win, so that's good.

Sloppy game though. Semin looked really slow. Gilbert had a shitty game. That being said, it's just the first game. Onward and upwards.

Great start for Alex Galchenyuk. Big goal, rang another off the crossbar, defensively responsible and 70% in the face-off circle

yea some guys get a pass from me because it is the first game. i thought dsp played well, skating hard, first on the puck, throwing his weight around, first one in when subban got hit from behind.

My point that Eller is Eller...he works hard and tries but seems to never amount to much result wise

Adequate peformance against a non-playoff team on the road. Except for Price, of course. He's Yoda.

Lou being Lou and forbiding beards, longer hair, white skates by Komarov, the Leafs play by play team from travelling on the team flight and so forth.

It should be an interesting year in Toronto

Still a below average team with out of this world goaltending...better hope Carey never gets hurt or has an off year.

27 was good in the face off circle tonight as well. Just seen on tv 70%.

Sens are below average with no Price. Must really suck to be them
