I remember when Stephen Colbert was actually funny.

there is nothing more amusing to me than how the trumptards instantly hate people they used to love, the moment they criticize dear leader.

Really, you should try reading a guy that isn't even a US Citizen cry about the election for almost a year.

    It's gold.

    * Colbert out of character is a dud. No question about it.

"Hillary Clinton I think is a terrific woman, he told Fox News Greta Van Susteren in March of 2012. *I am biased because I have known her for years. I live in New York. She lives in New York. I really like her and her husband both a lot. I think she really works hard.

LOL. So, what's next for Cowen?

Maybe he'll concoct a lawsuit against the Avs for their failure to give him the NHL job he so obviously deserves.

No matter what though, not being able to crack a putrid defense on the worst team in the league puts an exclamation point on his NHL career being over. And really, I'm not sure how much use European teams will have for a lumbering pylon either.

Maybe he can get a job at Pascal Leclaire's hockey school.

Looks like Jagr to Calgary is done. $1M base + $1M in bonuses.

At that price, he should have been a no-brainer for a bunch of teams. Glad to see him back, though.

I can’t believe one of the bigger name teams didn’t step up and pay him that.

I kinda would’ve even liked to see us get him for that.

What are the odds that he puts up better numbers than Hemsky does?

    Extremely good.

The Habs really should have been all over Jagr.

Jagr is such a tough fit, salary is good - but he really is a PP specialist at this point IMO.

This. Calgary was weak at RW so this move doesn’t surprise me

You need a C who operates at the same pace he does.

Jagr would have worked nicely in SJS with Joe or Chicago with Artem, off the top of my head, n2m anyone who needs secondary PP scoring.

Not sure which C he is best suited with in CGY, but best guess is with either kid, Bennett or Monahan
