It's only 3 years. The salary is nothing. He's a great 3rd line center and that's all he's being paid as. Won't be hard to live up to that deal.

Bruins signed a 32 year old 45 point guy for 6 million per over 5 years. That gets my vote as the worst. Meanwhile, a better and younger Eriksson got the same deal, at 1 more year. Bizarre.

Yeah that was one of the few decent deals. Absolutely perplexed at Boston for letting him go in favor of an older, worse player at essentially the same contract.
