Spurs and Leicester get to play each other three times in two weeks. Poch and Ranieri must be thrilled.

They tried their damndest. Poor Micah Richards was confronted by traveling Villa fans on his way off the pitch.

He was defending Guzan and Lescott who had spent the 2nd half engaged in shouting matches with fans after spending the first half engaged in a childish sideline contest of who can spit the wad of gum furthest onto the pitch.

Frankly, Guzan got benched again against Palace and after that I hope he stays there awhile. At least ACT like you give a crap.

Yeah, Micah Richards is the only player out there who at least looks like he gives a crap. I understand and completely relate to Villa fans anger, but their are better targets for the anger, namely, anyone else.

Add Ayew and Bacuna to the list of guys who are busting their tails trying to make things better. You'll notice that it's an exceptionally short list.

Round 4 proper

Saturday:
Colchester United v. Spurs
West Brom v. Peterborough United
Bolton v. Leeds United
Arsenal v. Burnley
Reading v. Walsall
Aston Villa v. Man City

MK Dons v. Chelsea

There are no non-league teams left. Oxford United, Portsmouth and Carlisle United are the lowest ranked teams, from League 2.

You know, the last thing Villa need right now is a serious match with City. Part of me hopes they trot out the Under 21s and tank the heck out of this match.

Two replays to complete 4th round proper:

West Ham v. Liverpool 2/9
Peterborough United v. West Brom 2/10

5th round proper to be played the weekend of 2/20. All teams except Shrewsbury Town (and Peterborough United if they advance) are from the Prem or Championship.

Chelsea v. Man City
Reading v. West Brom/Peterborough
Watford v. Leeds United
Shrewsbury Town v. Man U
Blackburn v. Liverpool/West Ham
Spurs v. Crystal Palace
Arsenal v. Hull
Bournemouth v. Everton

Fifth round results:

Arsenal 0-0 Hull - Arsenal win replay 4-0
Reading 3-1 West Brom
Watford 1-0 Leeds United
Bournemouth 0-2 Everton
Blackburn 1-5 West Ham
Spurs 0-1 Crystal Palace
Chelsea 5-1 Man City
Shrwesbury Town 0-3 Man U

Sixth round proper schedule:
Reading v. Crystal Palace 3/11 2:55/19:55
Everton v. Chelsea 3/12 12:30/17:30
Man U v. West Ham 3/13 12:00/16:00
Arsenal v. Watford TBD

With 7 teams from the BPL, the weekend league schedule will be a shambles.

West Ham 1-2 Man U

The semi-finals are set:

Saturday, April 23
Everton v. Man U 12:15/17:15

Sunday, April 24
Crystal Palace v. Watford 11:00/16:00

Everton have won 5 FA Cups, the most recent in 1994-95
Man U have won 11 FA Cups, the most recent in 2003-04. A win would tie them with Arsenal for most ever.
Neither Crystal Palace or Watford have ever won it. Both have made the finals once. Watford lost to Everton in 1983-84, Crystal Palace lost to Man U in 1989-90.
