Habs sign Paul Byron to three-year, $3.5M deal

Nope. 1.1m for a guy that has great wheels and has been awesome on the PK.

One of the few good stories for the Habs this year.
 
The fact that we need help in the top 6 doesn't mean that this is not a good signing - it is. The guy is an excellent penalty killer, with great speed. And he signed for not much.
 
Yep, nothing wrong with this signing.

Now it's time to open up some cap space to use on the top of the lineup.
 
sure I like Byron well enough

however there are greater needs that if not addressed, means to me....screw this shit.
 
Can't complain but what was the rush to sign a 4th liner and why 3 years? anyway another minor signing à la Berg.
 
I like his determination but at the end he is 5'7 and i noticed in many occasions he lost battles not because of lack of effort because his size, size is an issue when you play in 3rd and 4th line.

Anyway now i hope for real we get rid of little Dave and i don't give a damn which way, fcuking trade or buyout or whatever.
