I'm not worried about signing the youth down the road. Sabres have a lot coming off the books in the next couple of years. Gionta, Kane, Franson, Gorges, Kulikov. The term is what hurts the most IMO.

You always overpay on July 1. I'm not surprised on the price. I was hoping for the trade market to make a move for a winger. Then again, we got Kane already...... puke
