That Night in Kingston...

Let's face it, the entire country is going to shut down tonight at 8:30.

We might as well have a place to talk about it.

Yeah I saw them in Edmonton a couple weeks back. It was amazing. Tonight will be pretty emotional.

I'm predicting they open with Grace Too.

+1

Glad that Gord is getting a proper send off, but truly couldn't care about the Hip.
Yup. Never been a huge fan and I'm not about to start pretending. Hope they put on a hell of a show but I'll be going to Progressive Field for Jays/Indians

They almost never do Fiddler's Green. In fact they never did it in concert until 2006 in spite of it being from the 1991 album Road Apples.

The Tragically Hip... Awesome show. I regret not supporting them. I thought I wasn't a fan but I was wrong. Many great songs and lots of history.

Was hard to tell how affected Downie was, he came out hollering and seemed to stumble on lyrics occassionally - but he got stronger and stronger as the night went on. Every encore was better and better - when they played 'Gift Shop' I was wrecked.
