The execution was finally in place, passes on the tape, good decisions, good reads. Overall solid game. Not too impressed by Hanley but I wasn't missing DD one bit.

I was gonna say, post game thread count should be up there with Corsi in factoring how well the team performed.

Domination across the board.
Only 2 Habs below 50% 5v5 corsi (Beaulieu and Hanley were around 39%)
Everyone else was a positive, some as high as 73.68% (Weber, Emelin)

Not sure its 100% of the explanation, but Danault's line was very good.
As I said in the GDT, I supported DD for a long time cause we had no other option at 3C. Its early 14 games, but Danault looks like the better option right now. Steal of a trade. He could solve a lot of problems for the team if he keeps playing this way.
