Cory Lavalette interviewed Waddell last week for the North State Journal. The profit doesn't include the Canes' share of expansion fees. NHL TV revenue was up, ticket sales were up slightly, local sponsorship was up about 15%, merchandise sales doubled.

Yeah ... not sure I buy that, but because we had such a low payroll, I'm sure the financials weren't too terrible.
