But he is not your average 35 goal scorer. He is a Montreal Canadien which means he has no value. Forget the goals and great two way play... he has no value. 4.5 mil is wayyyyy to much to pay for a Hab.

I see maybe 3 but its what are the willing to give up

I dont see a Lucic deal at all GW .

Best I see is the Nash or RMD deal ...a low first and B level prospects and or a decent roster player included for cap purposes

I'm hoping for the Lucic deal but I'd be ecstatic if we get it.

I still think that there is a massive devaluation of Max going on though.

I’m positive there is a GM out there who thinks Max with a legit 1C is a 40-goal scorer over the next 3-4 years
 
Max also has value with teams who have limited cap space but want to add an impact player. $4.5m for a 30+ goal scorer is attractive.
