ROR was a throw in for my trade.

    He's not good.

    Are you serious?

RoR is an excellent player. Very consistent two-way 20g 60p center that is excellent on the faceoff.

Yeah, ROR is good. Better than anyone we have at center, that's for sure.

Dahlin is more untouchable than Crosby at this point.

The only player more untouchable in the league is McDavid...maybe Matthews...that's it

The way every single scout and hockey analysts rave about him, it's insane.....he's generational according to almost 100% of hockey minds (from all i've read so far).

    A wonderful trade.

We trade a 30g scorer who isn't going to re-sign in Buffalo, the 3rd overall pick, a depth d-man and two longshot picks for Dahlin, a bonnified (yet overpriced) #2 center signed to a long term deal and a guy who's contract is up.

I couldn't even conceive why Buffalo would even say no to that.
Elite goaltending will hide a lot of a bad team's flaws and make them look a lot better than they truly are. That's why Carey Price is the single most important player to his team in the NHL.

My new poorly written out thoughts on this season's Montreal Canadiens.

While the stat is more or less meaningless on its own, Quinn Hughes is leading the World Championships in passer efficiency.

    Default 2018 NHL Entry Draft

MB just said Marty Lapointe has been in Europe for past month, he’s the point guy for WC...

Maybe in the past sure. His skating is all world and his puck skills and iq can make up for being 5’10.

Quinn is definitely the guy I want at #3. He's probably the guy I'd take at #2 as well. This isn't why I'd take him, but it's also worth noting that this team has nothing at any level in terms of skilled, left handed puck moving d-men.

The fact that an organization that recently had players like PK Subban and M. Sergachev in it, desperately needs to draft a puck handling defencemen is very depressing.

This team needs defencemen, scoring forwards and a centre.

    Tough times in Habs land.
