iirc these were the other lines in practice yesterday....

VanRyk-Bozak-Marner
Marleau-Kadri-Komo
Johnsson-Smith-Grundstrom
Rychel/Greening/Marchemnt/Moore

Gardiner-Zaitsev
Maricnin-Borgman
Nielsen-Polak

bolded are the ones I'm keeping an eye on.

PS GDT - Leafs vs. Sens 7:30PM TSN4

Lines for the Leafs' second game of the pre-season:

Patrick Marleau - Nazem Kadri - Leo Komarov
James van Riemsdyk - Tyler Bozak - Mitch Marner
Andreas Johnsson - Ben Smith - Carl Grundstrom
Kerby Rychel - Colin Greening - Trevor Moore

Jake Gardiner - Andreas Borgman
Martin Marincin - Vincent LoVerde
Rinat Valiev - Justin Holl

No word on tonight's goalies, as of yet.

I'm heading down tonight. with fewer tv time outs it gets me home at an earlier time so its not as painful on Wednesday.

Looks like Freddie's getting the start, with Kaskisuo backing him up (and likely starting the second half of the game).

Leafs 15, Sens 0.

Auston Matthews manages to hit 'em with the 4 even though he doesn't play.

Must win.

All kidding aside, we'll ice 2 regular lines tonight instead of 1, plus we're starting our #1G tonight (for half a game anyways) so hoping we see better results.

It's the debut of Marleau as well. Sounds like Kadri and him have good chemistry and we'll see if that's true or not.

Sens lineup:

McCormick-Thompson-Pyatt
VandeVelde-Brown-DiDomenico
Batherson-Reinhart-Kelly
Formenton-Chlapik-Rodewald

Harpur-Borowiecki
Claesson-Wideman
Sieloff-Lajoie

Looks pretty ugly.

Yeah, you gotta thing Babs will be feeling the heat if we drop this one. Tidy 4-2 win with Marincin running the powerplay like a boss.

Yeah, those are the ones to watch. Rychel and Moore are also of some interest to see if they can make any kind of push, particularly Rychel, who is on his last legs as an NHL prospect.

Sure to be lots of float from JVR and Bozak tonight.

The JVR-Bozak-Marner line says ... hey NHL GMs, we have no intent to put Marleau on the left side. No urgency to move JVR at all.

Wow. What a goat-**** by Marincin.

That goal against was 100% him. I am not going to miss this guy at all.

Also, interesting that the Bozak-Kadri-JVR-Marner-Gardiner PP unit stayed intact with Marleau in the lineup.

Makes me think that Leivo was just keeping Marleau's place on the Matthews/Nylander unit warm for him in the first game.

Condon looking good. Would've been nice to have him as our backup.

Gardiner looking really good. Marner line looking nasty.

Marincin is a donkey.
