So what you're saying is that you just need Bergevin and Timmins to not be one of those dummies?

With that said...I don't know how far Sergachev would move up in a redraft. That was a really good top 10. Ahead of Juolevi and Nylander for sure...after that though, the arguments start.

not that i want to praise either person but timmins has been good in the top 10

How many of these was Timmins even there for? Because it's not that awesome a list even if he was there for all of them.
 
Trevor timmins was head scout starting in 2003.

I'm not really worried about Edmonton actually becoming competitive.

It would just be a shame for another sublime young hockey talent to go there to waste the prime of their career.

Who's hating? I'm not saying anything in regards to the process.

I just obviously don't want the Habs to fluke into a generational talent, that's all.

Did Habs fans want the Leafs to get Matthews?

Why does this matter to you though?

I want the Leafs to win the Cup every year from now till eternity and cause the careers of every non-Leaf player to be wasted.

I'm not concerned about an individual non-Leaf player having success. It's like caring that the Sedins never got to hold the Cup.

For the casual fan, you'll still enjoy seeing great highlights of elite talents wherever they play. I don't actually want them to win anything though.
