    Wasn’t my point. I know he crashes. But he doesn’t get ANY benefit of the doubt. Even when he is shoved or hit into the net, he takes the blame. It’s reputation. Just like Buf, you can’t take out two skaters with one hit and then five minutes later roll around on the ground on a glancing blow from that “monster” Pacioretty. Doesn’t pass the smell test sorry.

    Playing with 92 helps. He creates a lot of room for 27 to operate. When 27 is playing with slugs, the opposition knows that they only have to focus on him because the other two pose no threat.

    Julien is no different when it comes to playing not to lose rather than playing to win. The Habs' criteria for hiring coaches and GM's is simple: the more risk-averse they are, the better their chances of being hired.
