Bad 2nd period so far.

We really do need to get a defender who can take some pressure off of Hainsey on the PK. His legs will fall off at this rate come playoff time.
 
i thought that was what polak was for but he barely played on the pk either. i think babs is fine with it.
 
Nice to see Freddy has been working on his rebound control. Makes life a lot easier for the blueliners.

This is Babcock being overly stubborn because he got the toy he wanted (veteran top 4 defender/PK'er).
 
This is why I don't like corsi ... Jake is leading the team this game in CF%. He's been truly awful.

But, yeah, other than Jake, they've been pretty solid in their own end.
 
No Auston Matthews shows the severe limitations of Zach Hyman. He's gotta stop carrying the puck and just go pure dump and chase, he does nothing with it when he carries.
