Don't feel good about this one. Minny is hot. Staal always gets us. And I feel a losing streak coming on.

Legend:

Letter Grades = Quality of Competition measured by opponents' time on ice, Converted into Letter Grades for simplicity
p60 = points per 60 minutes
CF% = Corsi For Percentage (i.e. shot attempts for percentage)
xGF% = Expected Goals For Percentage (i.e. shot attempt percentage adjusted for shot quality) - this stat is already adjusted for zone deployment and game score
In Brackets = CF% and xGF% relative to team
dsv% = difference between save percentage and expected save percentage

Although we face Stalock tonight, so that should help avoiding a loss.
Apparently Stalock is extremely butthurt that Leafs Robidas Islanded him after the Sharks dumped him to us in the James Reimer trade a couple of years back.

So, maybe his inherent shittyness will shine through, or maybe this will be one of those nights where a journeyman backup goalie ends up looking like a Vezina trophy winner against us.

Looks like the lines are mostly the same tonight, aside from Marner & Brown swapping places.

The defense pairings remain the same as well:

Hyman-Marleau-Marner
Komarov-Kadri-Nylander
van Riemsdyk-Bozak-Brown
Martin-Moore-Leivo

Rielly-Hainsey
Gardiner-Zaitsev
Borgman-Polak

Andersen

Wonder if that is Brown being demoted, or Mitchie being promoted, or both. First line needs more offense without Matty, but Mitchy has been carrying Bozo and co...

Time to deal with bozo and plant his rear to the end of the bench for a game or two.
Slide Moore up into bozos spot.
Also rotate komorov in and out with leivou

**** that guy. He is still crying about how the Leafs treated him during his brief stint.

Light him up and give him more to piss and moan about

I think we bounce back tonight. Babcock has always gotten these guys to play a good game after a bad loss. And Marner getting away from the two defensive black holes gives me hope that he hasn't completely lost his mind.
