Honestly, I don't mind. He's been in Montreal all his career, he wants to finish here, he's been a real pro all his time with us, knows the organization inside out, low maintenance, he's not a bad mentor for some of the kids. We have no centers besides Danault so he's not even taking someone's spot. Trade him, see if you can upgrade, use him as your plan D. We're going nowhere next year anyway.

Apparently Shaw is someone a couple of teams would love to add.

MB should strike while the iron is hot with this guy, before his injury he was having a good season and he still has that luster on him from his Chicago days.

A couple of years ago, Boone Jenner was close to “untouchable” in CBJ trade talks. Sense around the league is that’s no longer the case.

I can picture Shaw getting traded and Benn. No one else. (although i am not happy with this). We need to offer JT the moon. I cannot believe he wants to stay there.
