I was never that familiar with Alzner but I thought he had a reputation for being an elite defender. Clearly he hasn't been anywhere near what we were promised.
Nah. He's not good for a playoff run either.
At least JFJ was fired.
MLSE > Molson clown car
So....the problem wasn't corrected. All they did was change the name of the problem from "Ferguson" to "Burke". In fact, the problem got worse. JFJ actually made the playoffs once during his 5 years in charge. Burke never made it to the post-season even once during his tenure. Then he was replaced by Nonis, who was worse still, although not as irritating on a human level as Burke (but then again, who isn't less annoying than Burke? Two decades in an executive role and to this day he still doesn't know how to tie a Windsor knot)
The Leafs stumbled into competence more than anything they did by design. Maybe we'll get lucky someday and the Habs will accidentally hire a competent GM.
Technically he's not the GM.Nice to see Burke and his Flames burning in hell now. Coach will be fired and their first pick goes to the Isles.
Maybe that fat pig gets the boot as well. Talented roster but they give up too many scoring chances and they deserve it .
but was replaced by another two losers in the drunk and his fat lackey
Michael McCarron: Fights happen when he’s on the ice. Anything else? It was kind of sad to hear Sergio Momesso tell us on the air prior to the game that he had a long talk with McCarron after the morning skate and that McCarron felt kind of “lost” and was appreciative that he had “somebody to talk to.”
Seriously. Never should have fired MT.
MT should have been fired. CJ may have not been the correct replacement though.
MB should have been fired. MT did a lot with a crap roster MB gave him.
