Maybe that's it, French Quebecers dont pay attention to English media anyway.

I know where I grew up , there was a real battle line between the Leafs and Canadiens. If your background was English you cheered for the Leafs. French or a Montreal transplant you cheered for the Canadiens. Lucky for me, the Leafs where never much of a threat back then. I don't remember the 60's when the Leafs were better.

Yes, I know a lot of Habs fans hate Philly but I've never had an issue with them. Couldn't believe it when they knocked off the favourite Bruins in 74, they used to knock off the Sittler Leafs before benig thrown in jail after the games, all good....so the groundwork for hatred was never laid for me with Philly.

I never really minded Philly either, even when they used to beat us silly in the 90s. I was a big Pelle Lindbergh fan as a kid.
 
I never hated Nordiques....they were insignificant, so no use in wasting energy on them.

Bruins however......
 
The Bruins have the best shot of winning the Cup this year.

Loved Pelle and I also loved Parent .. however I hated the Flyers from the 70's and the Lindros days.. today not so much...

I simply don't trust Tampa Bay and Vasilevky's slowed down later in the year. If the season was only 40 or 50 games and ended in January, we was going to win the Vezina.

I would be thrilled to be wrong, though. And honestly? A Tampa Bay - Pittsburgh (or hell, even Washington) conference finals? Yes, yes, yes.
