That's the issue.....they did well on 3rd liners, but failed on top line players

We have no depth to make those deals ....cant blame him for that

We moved our only trump card for a french dude who scored 13 goals , something that Carr at 650k can do with regular minutes

Top liners is mainly on TT and the amateur scouts - Kostitsyn, Fisher, Leblanc, Tinordi, Beaulieu was well before Dudley got there. Dudley apparently suggested Marchessault when he was UFA, MB wouldn’t bite
 
With Chuck Fletcher now gone, wouldn’t mind seeing Blair Mackasey poached to become head of Habs pro scouting

that is what i thought but that was the guy we lost to vegas
there was an article on athletic about it during the first round
