I honestly did even think of that.
I worded it as such because there was a lot of concern that the pick could be Hughes and that he's a potential elite, even generational type prospect. So I thought 'what if Hughes plummets in the rankings for whatever reason?' Maybe the pick is #4 and I take Hughes there. I don't think it would be in the spirit of the condition for me to have to give a 1st back.
But now I hope your scenario plays out... that's much better.
