Congrats kid! Who needs $150k a season (signing bonus and AHL contract) when you can sign directly with an AHL team and make maybe half of that?
 
You do have to give Hudson Elynuik this though....he managed to get himself signed by the defending AHL champs.

Apparently the marketplace put the same value on Lehner and Mrazek. Which is fair enough seeing as how they have basically the same level of experience as a starter with both having two 50+ game seasons under their belt. They're even the same age. I know some Canes fans were upset that he didn't choose to go after Lehner, but ... meh.
