I like Nolan Foote a lot and would not be surprised if he got to the top-5. Another guy I've followed is Xavier Parent in Halifax. Tiny guy but always had a lot of talent. Curious to see how he'll develop this year.

I find the Draft to always be a lot more boring than the hype around it.

Jack Hughes is the premier name everyone knows about, but even excluding Hughes, the probable first overall pick, this is a very strong USA crop. The USNTDP boasts one of its strongest classes ever, a big reason why they rolled a lot of teams this past season and have a lot of representation high in the first round.
Another clear thing from the 2019 draft is that Western Canada is deep at the top of the class. After a down season in 2018, this next crop is as strong a WHL crop as I’ve seen in a few years. There are only two prospects in my top 10 who aren’t part of the USNTDP nor play in Western Canada.

Depends on the roster, but take note of the players listed in the "Top Prospects" and most should be there.

The best players of note are Jack Hughes, Alex Turcotte (both on Team USA and should be running the tournament). Another player on America's team that I find underrated is Matthew Boldy. Canada should have a bunch of players, but I like Nolan Foote a lot. Ryan Suzuki, brother of Nick Suzuki that Las Vegas drafted in 2017, is also a pretty good player. Finland isn't going to have a strong team but Kaapo Kakko is worth a look.

Also of note, Alexis Lafrénière and Quinton Byfield might be there, the two players who are in most likelihood going 1-2 in 2020.

    USA Roster

None of the USA players you mentioned appear to be there
    - USA plays in Red Deer anyway - but Gold and Bronze medal games are in Edmonton so maybe I can catch them there.

I do not think Canada has announced anything yet but hopefully Lafreniere is there. That would be awesome.

    Pretty excited to see Lafreniere.

Right now I only got tickets to the bronze and gold medal games. Might pick up another random game or two.

Robertson, Suzuki, Cozens, etc should be fun. But USA put forward a team without Hughes or Turcotte.

Finland, Russia, USA are all playing in Red Deer not Edmonton but the finals are in Edmonton so hopefully I get to see that Finn as well.

Hughes went to the WJC20 summer tournament. Him & his brother ripped it up today. Quinn Hughes is a mother****er, man. Unbelievable.

Well, we know MB will find a way to screw this up. He'll trade a first to try to make the playoffs or pick someone ranked lower to fill a 'need'.

He’s never traded a first round pick. You can at least try and feign intelligence.

Way too deep a question for the middle of summer so I'll defer to Habsy on this one.
